RMBC Attendance Award 2015-2016
Awarded to The Willows School.

This is the first time it has ever been awarded to a Special School.
Thank you to all our students, parents and carers for making this happen.

September 2016

A new term has started and the attendance target for our school is 93%.

If any pupils fall below 90% they fall into the ‘Persistent absence’ category. The local authority monitor attendance and if pupils fall bellow this, we will automatically send out a poor attendance letter.

Currently we are doing well for special schools in Rotherham and would like to maintain this.

Attendance update at The Willows

Here is a quick update on Attendance – From September to October 2016 Half Term.

Each Half Term we like to reward both Upper and Lower School with a trophy and class treat to encourage a positive attitude towards coming to school.

The class winners with best Attendance Averages this time are L1 and L2 for Lower school and U1 for Upper school.

We strive to maintain and encourage excellent attendance and would like to thank you for your continued support with this.
